Where to go for the Perfect Pub Grub?

Ever fancy some pub grub in a local country setting?

This delish food was from The Wilbraham Arms, located in the outskirts of Alsager, surrounded by greenery and fields, which is lovely in the summer to sit outside in the sun!
On my visit, we had steak and ale pie, which came with veg, mash and gravy - unfortunately not on the menu anymore - and fish finger and tartare sauce sandwich and chips for £9 (which began my tartare sauce obsession)!
However, their brand new menu launched on the 18th February, which is just as good - still including the fish finger sandwich - along with more such as BBQ, chicken and cheese, roasted red paper and mozzarella and a roast carvery bap. Main meals include the carvery, scamp, bangers and mash and sweet potato masala - which I am dying to try! Check out their full menu on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thewilbrahamarms/

The atmosphere inside was a little quiet and dark; however outside it was particularly lovely and warm. It is your classic British country pub, filled with locals for a drink and some trusty grub. Personally, I believe this is a really comfortable, cute country pub - perfect to take the family out for a birthday meal or Sunday lunch!
Overall rating for food, atmosphere and service:

Would this be somewhere you would take your family? If so, what dish stands out to you? Do you think they should bring back that yummy-looking steak and ale pie?
Let me know!
