Do you want whopping food portions for an affordable price?

The Rifleman Inn holds a special place in my heart; having been my local for many years, located in Kidsgrove, I have become a regular of theirs. It's hard not to become a major fan of theirs when they offer such delicious food at amazing prices.

When I visited last week for my birthday meal with the family, we had the opportunity to pre-order our meal before hand so nobody was disappointed on the day and so the food could come out ASAP; and it did! The service was incredibly fast, lovely and attending to whatever extra things we needed.

Now, the reason why you're all here: the food .....

It is unbeatable; this tower of beef patties, hash browns, bacon, cheese and onion rings came to £5.95, (additional £2.75 for fries), and I struggled to eat the lot (don't get me wrong - I did still eat it all). A number of family members had the 10oz sirloin steak, served with mushrooms, tomatoes and chips for £14.95, and others had the chicken breast stuffed with garlic mushrooms, served with veg and potatoes, for £9.95. The children's menu "Young Dudes", holds a good variety of options, my nephews had chicken strips and chips and mac and cheese; and the portions were crazy for a kids portion! Overall, no complaints at a family meal? I call that a success!
