Wanna take your partner out on a classy, candlelit date?

Is it a special occasion - Anniversary? Birthday? Valentines? Or simply want to spoil them?

The perfect way to impress your date is with a surprise weekend stay at Chester and a fancy 3 course meal and drinks at the Opera Grill - trust me, you'll instantly be in the good books!

The Opera Grill has a lively yet romantic feel; the buzz of chatter from customers and the intimacy of a candle-lit dinner in your own booth. On my visit, we had a 3 course meal - may as well go all out - with chicken skewers for starters at £8.75, Argentine rump steak and chips for the main at £20.50, with cheesecake and caramel creme brulee to finish off at £7.50 each. Overall, an expensive night out? Yes. But the quality, environment and overall experience was unbeatable - especially for a particularly special date night.

With bars surrounding the Opera Grill, the night doesn't need to end there: you can visit Chester hotspots like the Alchemist and Slug and Lettuce which have too many cocktails and gins to choose from. Then, either catch the train home after a day of drinking and eating, or truly spoil yourselves with a night stay in one of the many hotels nearby - The Grosvenor, if you REALLY want to splash out.

Truly treat you and your partner this Valentines season with a trip to the Opera Grill, as I give it an overall rating of:

Happy Valentines Day everyone - are you being treated today? If so, where?
